NBR Premium Ball Bearing Units - Japanese Industrial Standard
NBR offers a premium range from the field of ball bearing units, which are manufactured at the increased level of quality ABEC3/P6 and its quality is continuously checked according to DIN ISO 2859-1.
Both the development as well as the production are in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001: 2008 and recently certified again. Due to excellent quality, high reliability and an attractive price-performance ratio, NBR ball bearings represent an interesting alternative in the market.
NBR ball bearing units consist of inserts (deep groove ball bearings) sealed on both sides (e.g. Perbunan, Viton) which can easily be mounted in housings of different designs. The inserts are available in various materials such as roller bearing steel 100 Cr 6, stainless steel AISl 440 C (1.4125) or polymer.
Materials for housings include grey cast iron GG, nodular iron GJS (GGG), stainless steel AISI 304 (1.4301) and polymers in different colours.
The inserts are filled with a special roller bearing grease in the factory. This means that under normal working conditions they are maintenance-free throughout their service life. Special lubricants for heavy-duty conditions are available for inserts which are exposed to extreme loads (high temperature, low temperature or environmental influences). NBR ball bearing units are most frequently used in the following branches: special engineering, conveying systems, apparatus engineering, agricultural machinery and packaging machines.

Rust resistant
In addition, various housings from the NBR range of bearings are also rust-resistant.
These are versions in:
- stainless steel,

- galvanised sheet steel,
- chromated,
- polymer (green, black, white).
NBR ball bearing units in special versions (stainless steel, polymer, surface-coated and with special seals) are mainly used in the food industry, pharmaceutical industry, beverage bottling plants, glass processing machines, coating and drying lines, bakery machines and other fields of application with extraordinary temperature and environmental conditions.
Flexible thanks to double lubrication
Thanks to two grease holes provided in the outer race, the inserts can be installed both in Japanese and European housings.
Convincing benchmark test of NBR!
The engineers Professor Sturm and Partner, with headquarter in Dresden, conducted the following comparative test for a ball bearing from the trademark „NBR“ to verify that a qualitative statement on their performance potential was possible.
