In order that our living environment remains worth living in, the protection of the environment has been a significant element of NBR’s corporate strategy for many years. 

This is why we direct particular attention to the conservation of resources, the saving of energy and the avoidance and disposal of waste. 
Examples include: 

• co-operation with preferred suppliers, who are also committed to the protection of our environment

• reduction of the use of materials to a minimum

• use of filling materials from recycled waste paper

• co-operation with the Landesbetrieb Wald und Holz NRW to ensure the phytosanitary treatment of imported pallets (wood preservation against pest infestation).
